The first quarter of 2021 has seen noteworthy activity in the Music/Rhythm category on Android devices across Australia. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers insights into how the top 5 apps in this genre have performed during this period.

Smash Colors 3D: Swing & Dash showed a significant revenue increase from $30K to $64K. Downloads peaked in late January with 9.6K, but trended downwards to 6.9K by the end of March. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, starting strong at 21.8K and eventually dropping to 20K.

Magic Tiles 3 experienced a dramatic revenue rise, starting at $249K and reaching a high of $1.2M in late March. Downloads, however, showed a gradual decline from 9.9K to 6.7K. The app's weekly active users fluctuated, beginning at 54.2K and concluding the quarter with 48.9K.

Tiles Hop: EDM Rush saw its revenue grow from $27K to $58K. Downloads initially dropped from 8.7K to 3.9K in early February but slightly recovered to 5.2K by the end of March. The weekly active users started at 59K and displayed a slight decrease to 51.5K.

Dancing Road: Color Ball Run! reported a stable revenue pattern, hovering around $30K-$40K, with a slight increase to $44K in early March before settling at $35K. Downloads showed a downward trend from 6.5K to 3K. Active users also decreased from 31.2K to 18.7K.

Beat Blade: Music Dash Dance had a fluctuating revenue performance, starting at $42K, dipping to $30K in late February, and rebounding to $42K by the quarter's end. Downloads saw a notable spike in mid-January at 4.7K but generally trended down to 3.5K. Weekly active users peaked at 24.3K in mid-January before declining to 21.5K.
