As the year 2023 drew to a close, the dragon game genre remained a popular choice among Android users in France. This article, drawing from Sensor Tower's comprehensive data, will delve into the performance of the top five dragon-themed games during the fourth quarter of the year.
Starting with Call of Dragons, published by FARLIGHT from Singapore, we saw its revenue fluctuate, ending the quarter with a peak at around $30K. Downloads saw an upward trend in the last week, reaching over 3K, while weekly active users tapered off to just over 10K by the year's end.
Next, Dragonscapes Adventure by Century Games PTE. LTD. showed a more stable revenue pattern, hovering around the low $20Ks towards the final weeks. The game's downloads spiked to over 7K in mid-October and ended the quarter with a rise to 2.7K. Weekly active users saw a significant jump in mid-October to approximately 27K but eventually stabilized at around 18K.
Dragon City Mobile from Spain's Social Point demonstrated a revenue increase in late December, reaching over $13K. Downloads peaked at 3.3K in mid-October and concluded the quarter at nearly 3K. The game maintained a strong weekly active user base, starting at around 180K and finishing with an increase to approximately 188K.
The French publisher Gameloft SE's Dragon Mania Legends saw its revenue climb towards the end of the quarter, topping off at over $4K. Downloads experienced a high of 3.7K at the end of October, with active users remaining relatively consistent, ending the period at around 26K.
Lastly, Age of Frostfall, although not providing a publisher country, had a modest revenue trajectory, with a final uptick to $2.8K. Downloads peaked in late October at over 2.5K, but the weekly active users showed a decline, finishing at under 900.
