In the second quarter of 2024, the top five tower defense games on iOS in Argentina showed varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement. Here's a look at how each game performed based on data from Sensor Tower.
Plants vs. Zombies™ 2 from PopCap experienced fluctuating revenue, peaking at $252 in the week of April 8th, before seeing a decline to $21 in mid-June. Downloads were highest in early April with 3.9K and gradually stabilized around 1K towards the end of the quarter. Weekly active users started at 15.3K, peaked at 21.5K in the second week, and then settled around 12K to 13K by late June.
Plants vs. Zombies™ by Electronic Arts saw modest revenue, peaking at $49 in the second week of April. Downloads began at 2K and gradually decreased to 593 by the end of June. Active users followed a downward trend from 9.3K at the beginning of April to 4.9K by the end of the quarter.
Rush Royale: Tower Defense TD from MY.GAMES B.V. had a notable revenue peak of $857 in mid-April, with other weeks showing revenue between $254 and $615. Downloads saw a high of 640 in mid-May but generally stayed below 350 for most of the quarter. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 3.1K and 4K.
Bloons TD 6 NETFLIX by Netflix, Inc. had consistent downloads, averaging around 140 to 180 per week. Active users slightly increased from 692 in early April to 948 by the end of June. Revenue data was not available for this title.
Stay Room: SilentCastle Origin from Zen World had minimal revenue, peaking at $16 in early May. Downloads were highest in early April with 240 and dropped to 88 by the end of June. Active users remained relatively stable, ranging from 1K to 1.2K throughout the quarter.
