In the third quarter of 2024, the top personal finance budgeting and planning apps in Mexico on the Android platform have shown varied performance trends. Data from Sensor Tower illustrates how these apps have engaged users and attracted downloads throughout the quarter.
Profuturo Móvil demonstrated a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, starting strong with approximately 9.6K downloads in early July, peaking at 11.5K towards the end of September. Active users experienced a slight decline, from around 91.7K in early July to 85.2K by the end of the quarter.
Dinero Plan: Gastos Nota saw a significant rise in weekly downloads, particularly notable from late July to early August, where downloads surged from 4.2K to 12.9K. This upward trend continued, maintaining a steady range of around 10K to 12K downloads weekly through September.
Dineria: Payment Calculator experienced moderate download activity, with numbers increasing from 2.4K in early July to a peak of 7K in early September, before declining towards the end of the quarter.
Banregio faced a varied download trend, with an early high of 4K in mid-July, followed by a dip and subsequent recovery to 4.8K in early September. Active users showed initial decline but rebounded from 60.4K in mid-August to 70.9K in early September, before slightly dropping again to 59.1K by the end of September.
Lastly, Money Tracker-Expense & Budget achieved a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $403 in mid-August. Downloads saw a noticeable uptick from 2.4K in early July to 4.3K by mid-September. Active users grew consistently, from approximately 10.9K in early July to 15.2K in mid-September.
