In the third quarter of 2024, social networking applications in Kuwait demonstrated varied performance across different metrics on the unified platform. Data from Sensor Tower reveals interesting trends among the top five apps.

Threads saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 7.3K in early July and reaching approximately 11.2K by the end of September. Its weekly active users also grew consistently from about 53.2K to roughly 69.9K over the quarter.

Telegram Messenger experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at around $7.5K in the week of September 23. Weekly downloads hit a high of 11.3K mid-September, while the weekly active users count remained robust, fluctuating slightly but maintaining an average over 850K users throughout the quarter.

WhatsApp Messenger maintained a stable number of weekly active users, hovering around 3.2M. Weekly downloads varied slightly, peaking at 10.5K in early August before settling to around 8.1K by the end of the quarter.

Facebook showed consistent weekly downloads, averaging around 11K, with a peak of 12.7K in early August. Its weekly revenue showed a gradual increase, reaching approximately $4.3K by the end of September. The app's active user base remained stable, slightly declining from 2.49M to 2.44M.

Discord - Talk, Play, Hang Out experienced modest weekly downloads, with a slight downward trend from about 3K in mid-July to 1.8K at the end of September. Revenue fluctuated, peaking at $7.1K in late September, while its weekly active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 66K throughout the quarter.
