Top Travel Apps Worldwide for May 2019 by Downloads

The most downloaded Travel category app worldwide for May 2019 was Uber with more than 13.1 million installs, which represented 8 percent growth from May 2018. Of these installs, 19 percent were from Brazil, 15.3 percent from the United States, and 14.8 percent from India. The full top 10 ranking of Travel category apps worldwide by downloads for May 2019 is above. App download estimates are from Sensor Tower’s Store Intelligence platform.

Google Translate was the second most installed Travel category app worldwide during May with close to 10.2 million estimated first-time downloads. Fifteen percent of its installs for the month were from India, 9 percent from the U.S., and 5 percent from Thailand. The next most installed Travel app was Waze, followed by Zomato and Booking.
