In the fourth quarter of 2020, Brazil's Android platform saw significant activity in the car games category. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into how the top five car games performed during this period.
Extreme Car Driving Simulator by AxesInMotion Racing showed an impressive increase in weekly active users (WAUs), growing from 406K in late September to 470K by the end of December. Downloads also surged from 95K to 131K in the same timeframe. Revenue peaked at $229K in the last week of December, marking a notable upward trend.
Parking Jam 3D from Popcore Games displayed a remarkable growth in downloads, with numbers skyrocketing from 49K to 206K by December's end. The WAUs followed suit, escalating from 87K to a staggering 323K. Revenue saw a modest but steady increase, reaching $22K in the final week of the quarter.
Sebby Games' Rebaixados Elite Brasil enjoyed a strong presence with its downloads peaking at 145K in the last week of December, up from 78K at the quarter's start. The game's WAUs also saw a peak of 731K in the same period, reflecting high user engagement in the game.
Car Games: Advance Car Parking by Broken Diamond experienced fluctuating download numbers, with a high of 117K in mid-October and a low of 18K at the end of December. Its WAUs showed a decreasing trend, from 85K at the beginning of the quarter to 112K by its end. Notably, the game's revenue was negligible, with only minor earnings reported in early December.
Lastly, Race Arena - Fall Cars had a modest start in late September with just 424 downloads, but it quickly gained traction with a peak of 197K downloads in mid-October. WAUs showed a peak of 331K in late October, though this number gradually declined to 108K by the close of December.
