Through data provided by Sensor Tower, we are able to see the trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users for these social connectors.
Tinder Dating app. Meet People remained a strong performer in the dating category, with a noticeable spike in downloads to 97K during the week of November 2nd. Weekly active users saw a decline from 3.8M at the start of the quarter to 3.2M by the end, while revenue peaked at $894K in the last week of December.
The Plenty of Fish Dating App showed consistent downloads hovering around the 40K mark each week, with a notable jump to 55K in the final week of the year. Active users fluctuated slightly but ended on a high note with 648K in the last week, despite the revenue dipping to $182.
Bumble: Dating App & Friends witnessed a steady revenue stream with a slight increase to $283K in the last week of December. Downloads had a high point of 47K in the week of December 7th, while weekly active users saw a gradual decrease from 2.1M to 1.8M by year-end.
MeetMe: Chat & Meet New People experienced fluctuations in revenue, ending the quarter with a rise to $331K. Downloads peaked at 34K in the first week of November, and active users saw a modest increase from 245K to 241K over the quarter.
Lastly, Hinge Dating App: Meet People showed a healthy uptick in revenue, reaching $242K in the final week of December. Downloads saw their highest at 35K in the same week, while active users maintained above 900K throughout the quarter, finishing with 934K.
