In the fourth quarter of 2020, the top Music/Rhythm iOS applications in the United Kingdom showcased a variety of trends in downloads, revenue, and active users, as tracked by Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at the performance of these leading apps.
Amanotes Pte. Ltd.'s Magic Tiles 3: Piano Game saw a remarkable increase in downloads, peaking at 76K in the week of December 21. Weekly active users followed a similar upward trajectory, reaching a high of 327K in the final week of December. Revenue also showed significant growth, culminating at approximately $18K in the last week of the year.
The publisher's other offering, Tiles Hop EDM Rush Music Ball, exhibited a notable surge in downloads, hitting 47K in the third week of December. Active users also increased, with a notable rise to 189K in the last week of the quarter. Revenue performance was strong, with a year-end spike at over $8K.
Amanotes Pte. Ltd.'s Beat Blader 3D observed a decline in downloads over the quarter but managed a slight rebound to 7.5K by the year's end. Weekly active users dipped to around 12K in late November but recovered to almost 16K in the final week of December. Revenue similarly recovered, ending the year at around $1.2K.
The same publisher's Dancing Road: Color Ball Run! also experienced an upswing in downloads, reaching 26K in the last week of December. Its active users saw a remarkable jump, peaking at 113K in the same period. The revenue for this app showed an upward trend, ending the quarter at nearly $1.8K.
Lastly, from Easybrain, Drum Pad Machine - Beat Maker downloads grew steadily over the quarter, with a high point of 13.5K in the final week. Weekly active users showed a significant increase, reaching nearly 50K by year-end. Revenue saw a healthy rise, concluding the quarter at about $4.5K.
