The final quarter of 2020 witnessed notable performances from leading poker games on mobile platforms in the United States. Data from Sensor Tower provides a comprehensive look into how these games fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
Published by Playtika, the WSOP Poker app showed a strong revenue trend with an increase from 1.3 million in early November to 1.8 million by the end of December. Downloads peaked at approximately 66,000 in the last week of December, while active users surged to nearly 400,000, marking a positive end to the quarter.
Lucky Spade, a newcomer released at the end of September by LUCKY TYCOON STUDIO CO., LIMITED, saw its downloads peak at 56,000 in mid-October. Active users reached a high of 53,000 in the same month before experiencing a gradual decline, rounding out the quarter with around 27,000 active users.
Zynga's flagship poker title maintained a steady revenue stream, with a notable increase to 893,000 in the last week of October. Downloads saw a high of 34,500 in late December, and active users peaked at nearly 800,000 in the same period, underlining the game's enduring popularity.
Published by Comunix Ltd, Poker Face experienced a revenue high of 227,000 in the third week of December. The game's downloads reached over 21,000 in the final week of the year, with weekly active users showing a steady increase to 116,000.
Another Playtika title, Poker Heat, saw its revenue peak at 106,000 in the last week of December. Downloads for the game reached nearly 12,000 during the same period, and the active user base grew to 24,800, capping off the year on a positive note.
