In the first quarter of 2021, the Android MMORPG landscape in Australia saw varying levels of engagement and financial performance across several titles. Sensor Tower provides a comprehensive look at how these games fared during this period.

Stella Arcana kicked off the year with a strong start, seeing a peak in revenue at around $11K in late January before experiencing a gradual decline to $7K by the end of March. Downloads for the game followed a similar downward trend, starting at 3.7K in the first week of January and tapering off to just 169 by the end of March. The weekly active users mirrored this decrease, from a high of 2.4K to 340 active users.

Jagex Games Studio's RuneScape - Fantasy MMORPG, on the other hand, had a more stable revenue pattern, with a notable spike to $11K in late February. Downloads remained fairly consistent, ranging from 424 to 709 weekly, and weekly active users stayed robust, with a high of 4.7K in mid-January and a slight decrease to 3.6K by the end of March.

Dino Tamers - Jurassic MMO, developed by Foxie Ventures, saw modest revenues, peaking at $164 in mid-January. The title maintained a steady download rate, with a high of 636 in the second week of January. Active users started at 1K at the end of December and saw a gradual increase to 707 by the end of March.

Old School RuneScape demonstrated a significant revenue in early January at $151K, which then dropped sharply and stabilized around $4K to $5K weekly towards the end of the quarter. The game's downloads and active users showed a slight decline, with downloads starting at 353 and ending at 323, and active users decreasing from 7K to 5.6K.

Lastly, Dragon Raja from Archosaur Games experienced a revenue high of $6.5K in early February followed by a steady decrease to $4.3K by the end of March. The game saw an initial surge in downloads to 876 in the second week of February but ended the quarter with 191 downloads. The weekly active users peaked at 1.5K in early February and then declined to 847 by the quarter's end.
