In the second quarter of 2021, the top insurance apps in Spain on the Android platform showcased varying trends in downloads and active user engagement. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps demonstrated their market presence, providing insights into consumer behavior in the insurance app sector.
MutuaMás-Muévete, ahorra y más from Grupo Mutua Madrileña saw its weekly downloads fluctuate, starting at around 4.2K and peaking at 5.7K in late May. The app's weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering between 18.4K and 20.7K throughout the quarter.
Línea Directa maintained a consistent download pattern, with a notable peak at 5.3K downloads at the end of May. Its active user base showed an overall increase, reaching approximately 10.6K in the same timeframe.
Mi Sanitas experienced a decline in weekly downloads from over 5.5K at the start of the quarter to around 3.0K by late June. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 25.1K and decreasing to 22.2K by the end of the period.
MAPFRE Seguros saw its downloads peak at 4.4K in early April, with a steady stream of downloads throughout the quarter. The app's active users remained strong, generally staying above 41K, with a high of 46K in early May.
Lastly, Adeslas Salud y Bienestar recorded a peak in downloads at 3.3K in late May. The app's active user base showed some fluctuation, reaching a high of 8.7K at the end of May.
