During the second quarter of 2021, the top 5 shopping games on a unified platform in Latin America showcased varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active user metrics. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides valuable insights into the performance of these popular games.
Supermarket: Shopping Games from Hippo Kids Games experienced relatively stable weekly downloads, fluctuating around the 100K mark, with a slight dip to approximately 86K in mid-June. Weekly revenue saw a notable peak of around $76 in early May, averaging between $30 to $60 for the rest of the quarter. Active users showed a gradual decline from around 290K at the start to approximately 231K by the end of June.
Vlad & Niki Supermarket game, also by Hippo Kids Games, had a strong performance in weekly downloads, ranging between 77K and 108K. Revenue peaked at about $179 in late May, maintaining an average around $100 to $170 for most weeks. Active users increased from 134K in late March to a peak of nearly 170K in late April, before stabilizing around 143K by the end of June.
Cashier 3D by Rollic Games saw a significant rise in weekly downloads, starting at 83K and peaking at over 107K in mid-June. Weekly revenue varied, with a notable peak of approximately $72 in late March and another peak of $60 in mid-June. Active users exhibited growth from around 159K to nearly 199K by mid-June, before slightly declining towards the end of the quarter.
Pepi Super Stores: Fun & Games from Pepi Play showed consistent growth in weekly downloads, starting at about 69K and rising steadily to over 95K by the end of June. Revenue remained stable, averaging around $250, with a peak of $313 in mid-June. Active users increased from approximately 110K to over 146K by the end of the quarter, marking a steady upward trend.
Lastly, Supermarket Game by FM by Bubadu demonstrated a fluctuating download trend, starting at 74K and peaking at over 90K in late May. Revenue was modest, peaking at about $26 in mid-April and early May. Active users saw a rise from around 108K to a peak of approximately 122K in early June, before declining slightly to about 107K by the end of the quarter.
