During the second quarter of 2021, travel apps in El Salvador showcased varied performance across downloads, revenue, and active user metrics. Here's a closer look at the top five travel apps according to Sensor Tower data.
Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker from Flightradar24 AB saw a significant rise in weekly downloads, starting at around 200 in late March and peaking at nearly 300 by the end of June. Weekly revenue fluctuated, peaking at $158 in mid-June. The app also maintained a stable user base, with active users increasing from approximately 1.3K to nearly 1.5K by the end of the quarter.
Planes Live - Flight Tracker from Easy Tiger Apps, LLC. experienced a more modest trend. Weekly downloads improved towards the end of the quarter, rising from 14 in early May to 80 by late June. Revenue remained relatively stable, averaging around $50 per week, while active users saw a gradual increase, reaching 78 by the quarter's end.
OkTalk: Keyboard Translator by Zapps Mobi had a consistent weekly revenue of around $30 to $37, despite very low download numbers, which peaked at 4 in late June.
iTranslate Converse, also from Easy Tiger Apps, LLC., had a notable revenue spike in mid-June, reaching $105, while downloads remained low, with a peak of 14 downloads in late June.
My Disney Experience from Disney showed a dramatic increase in revenue at the end of June, jumping to $142. Downloads showed variability, with a peak of 83 in late May, and active users rose steadily, reaching 64 by the end of the quarter.
