In the third quarter of 2021, the dating app landscape in Croatia showcased some interesting trends on the Android platform. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top 5 dating applications, based on data from Sensor Tower.
OmeTV – Video Chat Alternative from Video Chat Alternative saw a varied performance throughout the quarter. Weekly revenue peaked at approximately $1.4K at the end of June and then fluctuated, reaching around $721 by the end of September. Weekly downloads experienced a decline from 1K to 600, while active users decreased from 8.9K to 7.8K over the same period.
Tinder Dating App: Chat & Date, published by Tinder LLC, maintained relatively stable revenue, starting at $2.3K and ending at $2.2K. Downloads showed a slight decrease from 815 to 745, and active users remained fairly consistent, hovering around 44K throughout the quarter.
Badoo Dating App: Meet & Date, by Badoo, demonstrated strong revenue growth. The app’s weekly revenue increased from $900 in late June to nearly $2.7K by the end of September. Downloads saw a moderate rise from 556 to 730, while active users saw fluctuations but remained around 38K to 42K.
Dating and Chat - SweetMeet, published by SweetMeet, had a unique revenue pattern, with negligible revenue throughout the quarter except for a single dollar earned in the final week of September. Downloads started at 629 and ended at 315, while active users saw a decrease from 1.2K to 973.
LivU - Live Video Chat from LIVU Team experienced a dynamic quarter. The app’s weekly revenue fluctuated, peaking at $2K at the end of July and settling around $1.2K by the end of September. Downloads decreased from 431 to 255, and active users saw a decline from 1.9K to 1.5K.
