In the third quarter of 2021, the top 5 insurance apps on the Android platform in the United Kingdom exhibited a range of performance trends in terms of downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at how these apps fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Hastings Direct Insurance saw fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at 8.6K at the end of June and peaking at 11K in early September. Weekly active users for the app mirrored this trend, beginning at 18.6K in late June and reaching a high of 22.1K in early September.
Cuvva experienced a decline in weekly downloads from 6.9K at the start of the quarter to 5.3K by the end of September. Despite this, weekly active users showed resilience, starting at 11.8K and stabilizing around 10.1K by the end of the quarter.
Admiral Insurance demonstrated a general upward trend in weekly downloads, beginning at 5.2K and increasing to 7.1K by the end of September. Weekly active users also saw growth, climbing from 25.5K in late June to 31.4K by the end of the quarter.
MyAviva had relatively stable weekly downloads, ranging from 2K to 2.9K throughout the quarter. However, weekly active users showed a slight decline from 6.2K in late June to 5.2K by the end of September.
Aviva DigiCare+ displayed a varied performance in weekly downloads, with notable peaks in early July at 3.9K and late August at 3.2K.
