The third quarter of 2021 saw interesting trends for the top interactive story games on Android in Europe. Here's a detailed look at how these apps performed in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.
Chat Master! from Supersonic Studios LTD had a mixed quarter. Weekly downloads started strong with around 240K at the beginning of July but saw a decline to approximately 64K by early September, before recovering to 90K by the end of the month. Weekly revenue showed fluctuations, peaking at $62 in early July but dropping to single digits by mid-September, ending the quarter at $40. Active users also trended downward, from over 430K in late June to about 168K at the end of September.
My Child Lebensborn LITE by Sarepta Studio experienced significant variations. Weekly downloads spiked to nearly 341K in mid-July before settling down to around 14K by the end of September. Revenue followed a similar pattern, peaking at approximately $34K in mid-July and then decreasing to just over $1K by the end of the quarter. Active users initially surged to almost 487K in mid-July but dropped steadily to about 48K by the end of September.
Chapters: Interactive Stories from Crazy Maple Studio Dev maintained a relatively stable performance. Weekly downloads hovered around 55K-93K throughout the quarter. Revenue remained robust, fluctuating between $267K and $305K. The app also retained a solid user base, with active users ranging from about 396K to 483K.
Duskwood - Detective Story by Everbyte saw consistent engagement. Weekly downloads varied from approximately 150K in late June to around 40K by the end of September. Revenue was relatively stable, peaking at $35K in early July and gradually declining to about $14K by the end of the quarter. Active users followed a similar pattern, decreasing from around 513K to about 302K.
LUV: Interactive Adult Game XX from Afivad Limited experienced notable fluctuations. Weekly downloads peaked at about 121K in early August but fell sharply to around 4K by mid-September. Revenue also varied, with a peak of approximately $16K in early September, followed by a significant drop to below $1K. Active users mirrored these trends, starting at around 66K in late June, peaking at 159K in early August, and then dropping sharply to about 18K by the end of September.
