The top tabletop board games on iOS in Italy for Q3 2021 showcased varied trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s how each app performed.
Chess - Play & Learn from Chess.com saw a fluctuating revenue trend, peaking at around $3.3K in late June and ending the quarter at approximately $2.9K. Weekly downloads for the app were relatively stable, ranging from 2.1K to 2.8K, with a notable peak in late August. Active users remained consistently high, hovering around 74K to 76K throughout the quarter.
Backgammon - Lord of the Board by Beach Bum Ltd experienced a varied revenue trend, with significant peaks in early July and late August, reaching up to $3K and $2.7K respectively. Downloads remained steady around the 150-200 mark, while active users ranged from 2.5K to 2.8K, showing a slight increase mid-quarter.
MONOPOLY: The Board Game from Marmalade Game Studio demonstrated a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $1.9K in mid-August. Downloads saw an upward trend, especially in August, reaching up to 226 weekly downloads. Active users also increased, peaking at over 1K towards the end of September.
Parchisi STAR by Gameberry Labs showed a consistent revenue performance, with peaks at $650 in early September. Downloads remained stable, fluctuating between 200 and 290. Active users were steady throughout the quarter, ranging from 5.6K to 5.8K.
Cluedo: Classic Edition, also from Marmalade Game Studio, had a modest revenue trend, with a peak at $338 in mid-September. Downloads were relatively low but stable, ranging from 37 to 72 per week.
