2026 State of Mobile is Live!
In the third quarter of 2021, the top consumer finance apps in Italy showcased diverse performance trends across downloads and active users. Here’s an overview of how BancoPosta, Intesa Sanpaolo Mobile, HYPE - Carta conto e app, Mobile Banking UniCredit, and Crédit Agricole Italia performed during this period.
BancoPosta saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 36K in the last week of September. Active users also trended upwards, starting from around 803K at the beginning of July and reaching over 1M by the end of September.
Intesa Sanpaolo Mobile maintained consistent weekly downloads, with a peak of around 34K in the final week of September. The app's active users grew from about 1.38M at the end of June to nearly 1.58M by the end of Q3.
HYPE - Carta conto e app experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, reaching a high of approximately 25K in the last week of September. Active users showed a positive trend, increasing from around 484K at the end of June to over 527K by the end of September.
Mobile Banking UniCredit had relatively stable weekly downloads, peaking at about 16.6K in the last week of September. The app’s active users consistently increased, starting from approximately 590K at the end of June and reaching around 636K by the end of Q3.
Crédit Agricole Italia showed a decline in weekly downloads, dropping from around 19.4K at the beginning of July to about 6.7K by the end of September. Active users saw minor fluctuations but remained fairly steady, ending the quarter at around 189K.
