Throughout Q4 2021, the top five auto applications on the Android platform in Latin America demonstrated varied performance in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared:
Consulta Placa Multa e Fipe from DevPlank saw a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $16 by mid-December. Weekly downloads exhibited an initial growth, reaching approximately 47K in mid-October before stabilizing around 39K to 40K towards the end of the quarter. Weekly active users started at 197K in late September and gradually declined to about 177K by the end of December.
Consulta Placa Fipe e Multas by costaw experienced a significant fluctuation in weekly downloads. The app's downloads peaked at 54.7K in mid-October and saw another surge to 46.4K in mid-December. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 41.7K in late September and peaking at approximately 61K in mid-October, before settling at around 57.4K by the end of the quarter.
Detran.SP from PRODESP maintained a consistent weekly download rate, ranging from 28K to 39.5K. The app’s active users remained robust, starting at 1M and reaching a high of approximately 1.06M by the end of December.
Sem Parar: Tag, IPVA, seguros by Sem Parar showed a mixed performance in weekly downloads. The downloads peaked at around 33.8K in early October and again at 33.7K in mid-December. Active users saw a rise from 82.9K in late September to around 106K by the end of December.
Lastly, Consulta Placa - Débitos, Fipe from Grupo Plus had a notable increase in weekly downloads towards the end of the quarter, peaking at 30.1K in the last week of December. Active users also saw an upward trend, starting at 27.2K in late September and reaching 39.4K by the end of December.
