The fourth quarter of 2021 revealed interesting trends for the top Maps and Navigation apps on the Android platform in Belgium. Let's take a closer look at the performance of the leading five apps: Coyote: Alerts, GPS & traffic, Wikiloc - Trails of the World, TomTom GO Navigation, Circuit Route Planner, and Sygic GPS Navigation & Maps.
Coyote: Alerts, GPS & traffic experienced a fluctuating revenue stream, starting at approximately $7.1K and closing the quarter at around $7.5K. Weekly downloads varied between 318 and 468, while active users saw a gradual decline from 6.9K to 5.7K over the quarter.
Wikiloc - Trails of the World showed a diverse trend in revenue, peaking at $2.2K in late November and ending the quarter at $1.2K. Weekly downloads spiked to 1K at the beginning of November but dropped to 357 by the end of the month. Active users increased from 3.5K to a peak of 4.2K in early November before declining to 3K by late November, finishing the quarter at 3.9K.
TomTom GO Navigation saw a consistent drop in revenue, beginning at $1.6K and ending the quarter at $816. Downloads started strong at 897, peaking at 1.2K mid-October, but fell to 405 by the end of December. Active users also declined from 2.8K to 2.2K over the same period.
Circuit Route Planner maintained relatively stable revenue, beginning at $1.1K and ending at $1.2K. Downloads saw a peak of 583 in mid-October, declining to 350 by the end of December. Active users showed a slight increase from 754 to 931 over the quarter.
Sygic GPS Navigation & Maps had a varied revenue trend, starting at $715 and peaking at $1.4K in late November, then dropping to $236 by the end of December. Downloads remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 330 and 531. Active users showed a slight decline from 2.7K to 2.2K throughout the quarter.
