The fourth quarter of 2021 saw notable trends in the performance of the top 5 MMORPG apps on iOS in Hungary. The data, provided by Sensor Tower, reveals interesting patterns in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for these popular games.
Shakes and Fidget: Idle RPG experienced fluctuations in both revenue and downloads. Weekly revenue peaked at approximately $7K in mid-December, after a steady increase from around $3K in early October. Downloads remained relatively stable, with minor spikes, peaking at 343 in early November. Active users hovered around 3.4K, with slight increases and decreases throughout the quarter.
Albion Online showed modest revenue growth, peaking at $263 in mid-November. Downloads saw a significant spike at the end of November, reaching 324, while active users also saw an increase, peaking at 360 in the same week. Overall, the app maintained a stable user base, with a few notable increases in activity.
Black Desert Mobile had a varied performance in terms of revenue, with a notable peak of $376 in mid-November and another spike of $305 at the end of December. Downloads were relatively low, with the highest point being 63 in the last week of December. Active users remained consistent, peaking at 306 in mid-November.
Sprite Fantasia, despite being a newer entry, showed some revenue activity, peaking at $187 in late November. Downloads started strong with 220 in mid-October but saw a decline over the quarter. The app did not have active user data available for this period.
Evil Lands: MMO RPG had a mixed quarter with small revenue peaks, the highest being $83 in mid-October. Downloads were relatively stable, peaking at 47 in mid-November. Active users saw a consistent trend, peaking at 73 in both mid-October and late December.
