The final quarter of 2021 saw significant activity in the French mobile gaming market. Here's a closer look at how the top five games performed across both iOS and Android platforms during this period.
Coin Master, published by Moon Active, exhibited strong financial performance with weekly revenues peaking at approximately $1.3M in the week of November 22. Downloads also saw notable fluctuations, reaching a high of around 38K in the final week of December. Active users remained relatively stable, ranging from 133K to 161K throughout the quarter.
Candy Crush Saga from King experienced a varied revenue stream, peaking at around $786K in mid-October. The game's downloads increased towards the end of December, reaching nearly 48K. Active users showed a consistent upward trend, peaking at approximately 846K in the last week of December.
Clash Royale by Supercell had a notable spike in revenue, peaking at about $588K in late October. Downloads followed a similar pattern, with a peak of nearly 79K in the week before Christmas. The game maintained a steady rise in active users, culminating in over 3.7M by the end of December.
Clash of Clans, another popular title from Supercell, saw its highest weekly revenue of approximately $674K towards the end of November. Downloads were relatively stable, with a peak of around 44K in the week leading up to Christmas. Active users also showed a gradual increase, reaching over 2.2M in the final week of December.
Brawl Stars, also from Supercell, had a significant revenue increase in early November, hitting approximately $658K. Downloads peaked at about 65K in the week before Christmas. Active users varied, peaking at around 1.6M in the same pre-Christmas week.
