During the fourth quarter of 2021, the top five lifestyle apps on a unified platform in Europe showed varied performance trends in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides detailed insights into these apps.
Tinder Dating App: Chat & Date maintained a robust presence. Its weekly revenue peaked at approximately $6.2M in early October before fluctuating and ending the year around $5.3M. Weekly downloads saw a slight dip mid-quarter but picked up again, reaching 362K in the final week of December. Active users demonstrated a similar pattern, starting at 12.9M and peaking at 13.1M by the end of the quarter.
Badoo: Dating. Chat. Friends also showed steady performance. Weekly revenue ranged from $910K to $1.1M, with a notable increase towards the end of December. Downloads fluctuated slightly, averaging around 290K, while active users saw a gradual decline from 9.2M at the start of the quarter to 8.6M by the end.
Bumble Dating App: Meet & Date experienced consistent revenue growth, starting at $625K and closing the year at $697K. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a slight peak in the last week of December at 114K. Active users varied slightly but ended the quarter on a high note with 2.1M users.
adopte - app de rencontre showed moderate performance. Weekly revenue fluctuated between $207K and $286K, with minor ups and downs. Downloads showed a slight decline over the quarter, ending at around 10K. Active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 260K.
Finally, LOVOO - Dating App & Chat App saw a consistent revenue stream, peaking at $378K in late November. Downloads remained steady, with a slight increase towards the end of December to 57K. Active users started at 1.5M, dipped mid-quarter, and then returned to 1.4M by the end.
