In Q4 2021, the top 5 utilities applications in Germany demonstrated varied performance across weekly downloads, active users, and revenue. Here’s a closer look at their metrics:
luca app from culture4life GmbH saw a decline in weekly downloads from 250K in late September to 122K by the end of December. Active users also decreased from 7.2M to around 5.2M in the same period.
Google maintained a steady download rate, starting at 56K and ending the quarter at approximately 46K weekly downloads. Active users fluctuated slightly but remained around the 20.5M mark throughout the quarter.
Google Chrome also showed stable performance in downloads, beginning at 41K and ending at 39K weekly downloads. Active users saw a small increase, from 29.7M to nearly 30M.
QR Code & Barcode Scanner ・ by TeaCapps had its weekly revenue peak at about $2.2K in early December, while weekly downloads varied from 24K to 18K over the quarter. Active users showed a slight downward trend from 33K to 28K.
MeinMagenta: Handy & Festnetz exhibited strong growth in downloads, peaking at 76K in early December. Active users increased from 321K to nearly 390K by the end of the quarter.
