In the first quarter of 2022, the top five shopping apps on the Android platform in France showcased varied performance metrics. Here’s a closer look at their weekly downloads and active user trends, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Lidl Plus saw a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, starting at around 65K in early January and peaking at approximately 80K by the end of the month. The app maintained a steady number of weekly active users, increasing from around 384K to 430K by the end of March.
Vinted - Buy and sell clothes experienced relatively stable weekly downloads, averaging around 40K to 47K throughout the quarter. The app's weekly active users hovered between 1.38M and 1.44M, showing slight fluctuations but overall consistency.
leboncoin, petites annonces had a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 36K at the beginning of January and reaching up to 40K by the end of March. The app's weekly active users remained robust, fluctuating slightly around the 2.1M mark.
SHEIN-Shopping Online demonstrated a consistent upward trend in downloads, beginning at around 25K and growing to nearly 40K by the end of the quarter. The app's active users increased from approximately 1.05M to 1.25M, indicating a steady rise in user engagement.
AliExpress - Shopping App experienced a downward trend in weekly downloads, starting at over 50K downloads in late December and decreasing to around 23K by the end of March. The active users also saw a slight decline, from around 1.46M to 1.26M throughout the quarter.
