In the first quarter of 2022, the top five sports games on Android in Greece showcased varied performance metrics in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared:
8 Ball Pool by Miniclip.com maintained a consistent performance throughout the quarter. Weekly revenue saw a gradual decline from $5.5K at the beginning of January to about $3.7K by mid-February, before rebounding to $4.5K at the end of March. Downloads peaked at 7.5K in the first week of January but settled to around 5.4K by the end of the quarter. Active users showed a peak of approximately 42.8K in mid-January, with a slight downward trend, ending the quarter with 38.6K.
Head Ball 2 - Online Soccer from Masomo Gaming demonstrated fluctuating metrics. Revenue started at $3.3K in late December, dipping to $1.1K by mid-January, and then stabilizing around $1.3K by the end of March. Downloads experienced a significant rise, starting at 3.4K in late December and peaking at 7.1K in early March. Active users followed a similar trend, growing from 27.3K in late December to a peak of 36K in mid-March.
EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile Soccer by Electronic Arts saw a varied performance. Revenue began at $5K in late December, with fluctuations throughout the quarter, peaking at $5.7K in early February and ending at $3.1K in late March. Downloads started at 4.3K, peaking at 4.7K in mid-January, and then stabilizing around 3.5K by the end of March. Active users showed a steady increase from 26.3K at the start of the year to 29.5K by late March.
Mini Basketball, also by Miniclip.com, displayed a strong launch performance. Revenue grew from $99 in mid-February to $673 by the end of March. Downloads were highest in mid-February at 8.3K but saw a decrease to around 4.6K by the quarter's end. Active users peaked at 12.4K in mid-March before settling at 8.4K by the end of the quarter.
Soccer Superstar by Real Freestyle Soccer showed a steady performance in active users, with a decrease from 38.4K in late December to around 29.1K by the end of March. Downloads followed a similar trend, starting at 8.8K in late December and settling at 3.5K by late March.
