During Q1 2022, the top 5 MOBA applications on iOS in the Netherlands showcased varying trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at their performance:
Brawl Stars from Supercell experienced a fluctuating weekly revenue, peaking at around $98.9K in mid-January and showing another notable increase to $85.9K by the end of January. Weekly downloads were relatively stable, with a slight peak at 5K in the final week of March. Active users saw a minor decrease from 156.8K at the start of the quarter to 131.4K by the end.
Pokémon UNITE by The Pokemon Company had a modest revenue trend, reaching its highest point at $1.1K in the final week of January. Downloads saw a significant decline from 2.3K at the start of the quarter to just 393 by the end. Active users also decreased steadily from 18.2K to 10.3K over the same period.
League of Legends: Wild Rift from Riot Games showed a diverse revenue pattern, with notable peaks in mid-January at $7.2K and late March at $7.3K. Downloads decreased dramatically, starting at 823 in late December and dropping to 144 by the end of March. Active users fluctuated slightly, ending the quarter at approximately 7K.
Thetan Arena: MOBA Survival by WOLFFUN CO., LTD, saw a steady decline in revenue, starting at $330 in the first week of January and falling to negligible amounts by March. Downloads also decreased significantly, from 419 in early January to just 32 by the end of March. Active users followed a similar trend, decreasing from 1.2K to 323 over the quarter.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang by Shanghai Moonton Technology Co., Ltd. had a relatively stable revenue, with occasional peaks such as $11K in the final week of January and $10.4K in mid-March. Downloads were low and consistent, ranging from 226 in late December to 66 by the end of March. Active users remained stable throughout the quarter, averaging around 4.5K.
