Top 5 Finance Apps on Android in Ireland for Q2 2022

During the second quarter of 2022, the finance category on the Android platform in Ireland saw interesting trends in downloads and active users for the top 5 apps. Here’s a closer look at the performance of these leading apps based on data from Sensor Tower.

Revolut: Spend, Save, Trade had a dynamic quarter in terms of downloads and active users. Weekly downloads fluctuated, starting at around 7.6K at the end of March and reaching a peak of approximately 8.7K in mid-June. Active users showed a slight increase over the quarter, moving from about 311K at the end of March to approximately 325K by the end of June.

Google Wallet also saw notable activity. Weekly downloads experienced a steady rise, starting at 4.2K in late March and peaking at around 6.1K by the end of June. Active users for Google Wallet grew from about 102K at the beginning of the quarter to around 114K by the end of June.

AIB Mobile had consistent weekly downloads, beginning at around 3K and gradually increasing to approximately 4K by the end of June. The app’s active users showed a positive trend, rising from about 348K at the end of March to around 371K by the end of June.

Bank of Ireland Mobile Banking experienced steady weekly downloads, hovering around the 2.6K to 3K range throughout the quarter. Active users started at approximately 221K at the end of March and saw a slight increase to around 216K by the end of June.

PayPal - Pay, Send, Save had stable weekly downloads, maintaining a range between 2.4K and 2.9K. Active users showed a slight upward trend, beginning at about 176K in late March and increasing to approximately 181K by the end of June.
