In the second quarter of 2022, the top five food delivery apps in Ireland showed varying trends in weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.
Just Eat Ireland-Food Delivery experienced a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 4.6K at the end of March and peaking at about 22.2K in mid-May. By the end of June, downloads stabilized around 18.8K. The app maintained a relatively stable number of weekly active users, fluctuating slightly between 58.9K and 62.1K throughout the quarter.
Too Good To Go: End Food Waste had a moderate performance in terms of downloads, starting at around 3.7K in late March and climbing to a peak of approximately 5.1K by mid-June. Weekly active users showed a steady increase from 23.2K at the end of March to around 28.6K by mid-June.
Uber Eats: Food Delivery saw a consistent number of weekly downloads, ranging between 2.8K and 3.5K throughout the quarter. The app's weekly active users remained stable, starting at approximately 77.9K at the end of March and ending the quarter at around 77.4K.
Deliveroo: Food & Shopping had weekly downloads that fluctuated between 2.5K and 3.3K during the quarter. The weekly active users saw a slight decline, starting at about 58.8K at the end of March and dropping to around 52.4K by the end of June.
buymie:Dunnes Grocery Delivery had a relatively lower download rate compared to other apps, with weekly downloads starting at 1.2K in late March and decreasing to around 600 by the end of June.
