The second quarter of 2022 saw dynamic performance for the top 5 military games on a unified platform in the United States. Data sourced from Sensor Tower provides a closer look at the weekly downloads, revenue, and active user trends for these popular apps.
Call of Duty®: Mobile from Activision Publishing, Inc. had a notable quarter. Weekly revenue peaked at around $4.8M at the end of March and saw fluctuations, eventually stabilizing at approximately $3.4M by the end of June. Downloads experienced a gradual decline from 257K to 196K, while active users dipped from 3.9M to 3.6M over the same period.
Top War: Battle Game by River Game HK Limited saw its revenue reach a high of $2.2M in late April, with a general decrease to around $1.8M by the end of June. Downloads surged significantly from 52K to 224K, and active users increased from 82K to 130K, indicating growing engagement.
Warpath: Ace Shooter by Lilith Games had a varied performance. Revenue peaked at $756K in the last week of March but fell to approximately $362K by the end of June. Downloads also dropped from 43K to 12K, and active users saw a decline from 163K to 111K throughout the quarter.
Conflict of Nations: WW3 from Bytro Labs GmbH experienced a revenue peak of $413K in mid-June, with fluctuations ending at $342K. Downloads increased dramatically from 35K to 98K before dropping to 26K by the end of the quarter. Active users saw a significant rise from 54K to 98K in early June, ending the quarter at 59K.
Gunship Battle Total Warfare by JOYCITY Corp had relatively stable revenue, peaking at $211K in early April and closing the quarter at $179K. Downloads showed an upward trend from 5K to 9K, and active users increased from 12K to 17K.
