During the second quarter of 2022, the top 5 sports games apps in Australia exhibited diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Data from Sensor Tower sheds light on the performance of these apps across a unified platform, combining both iOS and Android metrics.
8 Ball Pool™ by Miniclip.com experienced a decline in weekly revenue, starting at around $96K at the end of March and decreasing to approximately $48K by the end of June. Weekly downloads fluctuated but remained relatively stable, ranging from about 12.4K to 14.7K. The app's active users showed a slight decline from 352.8K to 355.4K throughout the quarter.
Golf Clash - Golfing Simulator from Electronic Arts saw modest weekly revenue, peaking at around $47K in early May and dropping to about $33K by the end of June. Downloads remained low but consistent, averaging around 700 to 800 per week. Active users slightly decreased from 9.9K to 9.2K over the quarter.
Golf Rival - Multiplayer Game by Zynga Inc. showed steady weekly revenue, hovering around $24K, with a notable increase to $27K in the final week of June. Downloads exhibited a downward trend, starting at about 3.1K and falling to 2.7K. Active users showed a decline from 10.9K to 9.2K throughout the quarter.
EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile Soccer by Electronic Arts had fluctuating weekly revenue, peaking at about $28K in early May and settling at around $20K by the end of June. Downloads showed an upward trend, starting at 3.7K and rising to 5.6K. Active users increased from 41.1K to 46.5K over the quarter.
NBA 2K Mobile Basketball Game from 2K experienced a decrease in weekly revenue, starting at around $25.9K at the end of March and declining to approximately $16.8K by the end of June. Weekly downloads remained stable, averaging around 4.5K. Active users slightly increased from 8.7K to 10.2K throughout the quarter.
