During the second quarter of 2022, the top five tabletop board games apps in Kenya showcased diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active user numbers, according to data from Sensor Tower.
Ludo STAR from Gameberry Labs experienced a consistent rise in weekly revenue, starting at around $870 and peaking at approximately $1.1K by the end of June. Weekly downloads saw an initial high of 3.6K but gradually decreased to around 1.5K before slightly recovering to 1.8K. Active users showed a minor decline from 11.3K to 9.6K over the quarter.
Yalla Ludo - Ludo&Domino by Yalla Technology FZ-LLC had a fluctuating revenue trend, starting at $41 and peaking at $262 towards the end of June. Weekly downloads were relatively low, starting with 109 and ending with a peak of 173. Active users also saw variations, starting at 1.2K and ending at 1.4K.
Chess - Play & Learn from Chess.com had a mixed performance. Weekly revenue saw highs and lows, starting at $119 and ending at $76. Downloads peaked at 717 towards the end of June, with active users showing an overall increasing trend, starting at 5.3K and ending at 6.2K.
Ludo Club・Fun Dice Board Game by Moonfrog showed modest revenue performance, peaking at $88 in mid-April. Weekly downloads fluctuated, starting at 362 and ending at 530. Active users saw a slight increase overall, starting at 9.1K and ending at 10.9K.
Ludo King by GAMETION GLOBAL TECHNOLOGIES PTE LIMITED had steady weekly revenue, with minor fluctuations around $30. Downloads started at 5.2K and saw a decline to 1.5K, with a slight recovery to 1.8K. Active users showed a steady trend, starting at 24.6K and ending at 20.1K.
