In the second quarter of 2022, the top 5 travel apps in Brazil displayed diverse performance trends. Data from Sensor Tower reveals significant insights into weekly downloads and active user metrics for these apps on a unified platform.
Uber - Request a ride maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads peaking at 350K in the first week of April. Although there were fluctuations, downloads remained robust, averaging around 310K per week. Active users showed a slight increase, starting at 11.9M in late March and reaching 12.5M by early April, with minor variations throughout the quarter.
99 - Private drivers and Taxi also performed well, recording a peak of 325K downloads in the first week of April. However, the app saw a gradual decline in downloads, averaging around 250K in June. Active users saw a peak of 9.4M in early May but then gradually decreased, ending the quarter at around 7.9M.
LATAM Airlines experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 62.8K in late May. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 176K in late March and reaching 228K by the end of June.
Booking.com: Hotels & Travel saw consistent download numbers, peaking at 92K in the last week of April. Active users fluctuated slightly but remained strong, reaching a peak of 1.9M in mid-April and closing the quarter at around 1.8M.
123milhas: Voos e Hotéis had a notable peak in weekly downloads at 183K in late March but saw a decline, averaging around 70K by the end of June. Active users started at 603K in late March and showed a gradual decrease, ending the quarter at approximately 490K.
