In the third quarter of 2022, the top auto applications on the Android platform in Nigeria demonstrated diverse performance trends. Here is a detailed look at the weekly downloads and active user metrics for the top five apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Copart - Online Auto Auctions saw a notable fluctuation in weekly downloads, starting with around 1.2K at the end of June and peaking at 1.7K in mid-July. The app's downloads then tapered off to approximately 897 by early September, before rising again to 1.5K towards the end of the quarter. Active users for Copart - Online Auto Auctions showed a steady increase from 3.4K in late June to over 4K by the end of September.
Autochek - Auto Sales & Loans experienced variable weekly downloads, starting with 1.5K in late June, dipping to 794 in early July, and then climbing back up to 1.6K in early September. The app maintained a relatively stable performance, closing the quarter with around 1.4K downloads.
VIN Decoder & License Plate had an impressive surge in weekly downloads, beginning with just 51 at the end of June and reaching a peak of 2.8K in early August. However, the downloads declined significantly towards the end of the quarter, finishing at 229.
Speed Camera Radar: AntiPolice maintained a steady performance with weekly downloads starting at approximately 986 in late June and experiencing minor fluctuations throughout the quarter, ending with around 668 downloads. The app's active users saw a gradual increase from 2.8K to over 3.1K by the end of September.
Police Radar - Camera Detector showed relatively stable weekly downloads, beginning with 533 in late June, experiencing minor dips and peaks, and closing the quarter with 691 downloads. The active users for this app also saw a general upward trend, starting at 319 and reaching 379 by the end of September.
