In the third quarter of 2022, the top 5 educational games on the Android platform in Israel exhibited diverse performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared during this period, based on data from Sensor Tower.
TinyTap: Kids' Learning Games experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $6.4K in the last week of August. Weekly downloads showed an upward trend reaching 2.4K in early August, then declining to around 900 by the end of September. Active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at about 5.1K in late August before dropping to around 3.2K by the end of the quarter.
Matific: Math Game for Kids saw a fluctuating revenue trend, with a high of $673 in mid-September. Downloads remained relatively stable, hovering around 1.4K to 1.6K for most of the quarter. Active users showed a slight decline from 5.7K at the end of June to around 4.3K by the end of September.
Lingokids - Play and Learn had its weekly revenue peak at $1.4K in mid-July, followed by a dip and then a rise to $1.1K by the end of September. Downloads saw a significant increase, reaching 2.8K in mid-September. Active users also increased, peaking at about 4.5K in the same period.
Kids Art & Drawing Game, while not generating revenue, had a high download rate early in the quarter with 2.6K in mid-July, which then dropped to about 30 by late September. Active users showed a declining trend, starting at about 6.1K in mid-July and decreasing to approximately 2.7K by the end of the quarter.
Minecraft Education, despite not generating revenue, had a notable increase in downloads, peaking at 1.8K in mid-August. Active users grew significantly from 45 in early August to around 2.6K by the end of August, then stabilizing at about 2K by the end of September.
