Throughout the third quarter of 2022, the top finance applications on the Android platform in Argentina displayed diverse trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Let's delve into the performance of these leading apps based on data from Sensor Tower.
Mercado Pago: cuenta digital demonstrated strong weekly download numbers, starting at approximately 108K at the beginning of the quarter and fluctuating around the 100K mark, ending with about 89K. The app's weekly active users showed a slight overall increase, beginning at around 10M and peaking at approximately 10.5M in early September before stabilizing at around 10M by the end of the quarter.
BNA+ experienced a steady flow of downloads, starting at about 90K and seeing a high of nearly 97K in early August, before settling at around 69K by the end of September. Weekly active users for BNA+ followed a similar pattern, beginning at around 2.3M, peaking at nearly 2.4M in early September, and then slightly declining to approximately 2.1M by the end of the quarter.
Personal Pay Billetera Virtual saw weekly downloads starting at approximately 75K, with a peak of around 82K in early August, and tapering off to about 57K by the end of September. The app's weekly active users showed consistent growth, starting at around 269K and steadily increasing to reach about 355K by the end of the quarter.
Naranja X: tu plata CRECE maintained a fairly stable download rate, beginning with around 76K downloads and peaking at about 81K in early August, before ending the quarter with approximately 64K. Weekly active users for Naranja X saw a steady rise, starting at around 513K and reaching approximately 616K by the end of September.
Cuenta DNI exhibited variability in weekly downloads, beginning at around 62K, experiencing a low of approximately 32K in late July, and ending the quarter with around 39K. Weekly active users showed a consistent pattern, starting at about 2.2M, peaking at approximately 2.4M in early September, and concluding the quarter at around 2.2M.
