In Q3 2022, the top finance apps on the Android platform in Mexico displayed diverse performance trends. According to Sensor Tower data, BBVA México led the pack with notable weekly downloads and active users, while other apps like Banco Azteca and Spin by OXXO-Tu Cuenta Digital showed varying levels of engagement.

BBVA México saw its weekly downloads peak at approximately 204K in early September, with a consistent upward trend starting from late August. The app maintained a robust user base, with weekly active users fluctuating around the 7.9M to 8.1M mark throughout the quarter.

Banco Azteca also demonstrated strong performance in weekly downloads, peaking at around 151K in mid-July. Active users for the app hovered around 3.7M to 4.2M, showing a slight increase towards the end of the quarter.

Spin by OXXO-Tu Cuenta Digital experienced a steady rise in weekly downloads, reaching approximately 153K in the last week of September. The app's active user base grew significantly, starting from about 383K in late June and climbing to approximately 458K by the end of the quarter.

Mercado Pago: cuenta digital maintained a steady download rate, peaking at around 115K downloads in early August. Active users showed a slight decline mid-quarter but rebounded towards the end, reaching approximately 2.7M by late September.

Finally, Coppel: compras en línea saw its weekly downloads increase steadily, peaking at about 130K in mid-September. The app's active users also grew, fluctuating between 1.3M and 1.4M throughout the quarter.
