The third quarter of 2022 saw notable activity among the top food delivery apps on the Android platform in Angola. Data from Sensor Tower highlights the performance trends of these applications, providing insights into weekly downloads and active users.
MANO food & products delivery exhibited strong performance with weekly downloads peaking at 4.3K in early July. Despite fluctuations, it maintained a consistent download rate, ending the quarter with approximately 2.7K downloads. Weekly active users for the app showed a gradual increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching around 21.7K in the final week of September.
TUPUCA – Deliveries Unlimited experienced varied download rates, starting with 207 downloads in late June and peaking at 342 downloads in early August. The app saw a significant dip mid-quarter but rebounded to 332 downloads by the end of September.
Glovo: Food Delivery and More maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter, with weekly downloads oscillating between 68 and 169. The app's weekly active users showed a consistent upward trend, peaking at 588 in mid-September before slightly declining to 518 by the end of the month.
Mamboo had relatively lower download numbers compared to others, with a notable peak of 238 downloads in late July. The app's weekly downloads remained modest but showed a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching 140 downloads in the last week of September.
Uber Eats: Food Delivery had the lowest download figures among the top five, with weekly downloads ranging from 6 to 14. Despite this, the app maintained a stable number of weekly active users, with figures hovering around 1.5K, peaking at 1.6K in late July.
