During the third quarter of 2022, the top 5 shopping apps on the Android platform in Switzerland exhibited diverse trends in downloads and active users. The data, provided by Sensor Tower, offers valuable insights into the performance of these applications.
SHEIN-Shopping Online saw a fluctuation in weekly downloads, starting at 3.2K in late June and experiencing a slight dip to 2.6K in mid-July. The app then gradually climbed back to 3K by the end of September. Active users for SHEIN remained relatively stable, hovering around 50K, with a slight increase from 49.9K to 50.4K towards the end of the quarter.
Migros – shop & save had weekly downloads ranging from 2.6K to 3.4K, with a peak in late August. Active user numbers, however, showed more variability, starting at 45.3K and peaking at 47.3K in late August before stabilizing around 44.3K by the end of September.
Lidl Plus displayed consistent weekly download numbers, mostly around 2.5K to 3.1K. The app maintained a stable active user base, starting at 51K in late June and rising steadily to 55.8K by the end of September.
Joom. Shopping for every day experienced a consistent increase in weekly downloads from 2.2K in late June to a peak of 3.1K in mid-September. Active users followed a similar trend, beginning at 25.1K and reaching 27.9K by the end of the quarter.
Finally, Zalando – online fashion store showed a steady performance in weekly downloads, fluctuating between 2.3K and 2.6K. However, it led in active users, starting at 74.3K in late June and climbing to an impressive 86.3K by the end of September.
