In Q3 2022, the top 5 iOS navigation apps in Austria exhibited varying performance trends in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at each app's performance based on Sensor Tower data.
Google Maps maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads peaking at around 16.5K in mid-July and gradually decreasing to approximately 6.7K by the end of September. The app consistently engaged over 1.2M weekly active users, although this number saw a slight decline from 1.3M at the quarter's start.
WienMobil experienced moderate weekly downloads, starting with 2.3K in late June and peaking at about 3.5K at the end of August. The app's weekly active users grew steadily from 28K at the beginning of July to nearly 30K in early September, before slightly dropping to 28.5K by the end of the quarter.
HANDYPARKEN saw consistent weekly downloads, ranging from 1.7K to 2.2K throughout the quarter. The app's weekly revenue fluctuated, peaking at $97 at the end of June and maintaining an average of about $60. Weekly active users showed a stable trend, averaging around 7.5K.
Radarbot: Speed Cameras | GPS reported a notable weekly revenue, peaking at $1.8K at the end of August. Weekly downloads varied between 955 and 1.9K, with a slight decline towards the quarter's end. The app's weekly active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 5.6K.
bergfex: hiking & tracking demonstrated impressive weekly revenue, peaking at $14.2K in mid-August before settling around $6.4K by the end of September. Weekly downloads reached their highest at 2K in early August and then gradually decreased. Active users saw growth from 2.2K at the beginning of the quarter to a peak of 3.4K in mid-August, followed by a decline to around 2.1K.
