In Q3 2022, the top science games on the iOS platform in Europe demonstrated varied performance, with some apps experiencing significant growth in downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top five science games: Jetpack Joyride, Merge Animals 3D - Mutant race, Element Flow, Little Alchemy, and Cell to Singularity: Evolution.
Jetpack Joyride from Halfbrick Studios had a dynamic quarter with weekly revenue peaking at around $2.6K in early August. The game’s weekly downloads surged to over 55K in mid-September, while weekly active users increased from approximately 190K at the start of the quarter to about 289K by mid-September.
Merge Animals 3D - Mutant race by SayGames LTD saw a declining trend in weekly downloads, dropping from around 12K at the beginning of the quarter to about 4.8K by the end. The game maintained a relatively stable number of weekly active users, starting at 78.6K and ending the quarter at around 62K.
Element Flow from Lion Studios experienced a steady decline in weekly downloads, from approximately 8.4K at the beginning of the quarter to about 3.9K by the end. The game’s weekly active users also followed a downward trend, starting at about 14.8K and decreasing to around 7.5K by the end of September.
Little Alchemy by Jakub Koziol had fluctuating weekly downloads, peaking at around 6.1K in mid-July and stabilizing at about 5.2K towards the end of the quarter. The game’s weekly active users showed a slight decline, starting at approximately 22.5K and ending at around 19.9K.
Cell to Singularity: Evolution by Computer Lunch saw a consistent performance in weekly revenue, peaking at around $3K in mid-July. The game’s weekly downloads reached their highest at about 4.4K in late July, while weekly active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 15.2K throughout the quarter.
