In Q3 2022, Tunisia's dating app landscape saw notable activity across the top five apps: Tinder Dating App: Chat & Date, Azar: Video Chat & Meet People, LivU - Live Video Chat, Bumble Dating App: Meet & Date, and Badoo: Dating. Chat. Friends. Here is a closer look at their performance trends.
Tinder Dating App: Chat & Date experienced fluctuating weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $2.2K in mid-July before gradually declining to around $1.3K by the end of September. Weekly downloads showed a strong upward trend, with a significant spike to nearly 11K in the last week of September. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 60K throughout the quarter.
Azar: Video Chat & Meet People saw a peak in weekly revenue at just under $1K in early August. Downloads were consistently high, ranging between 8.4K and 12.7K, with a slight dip in late August. Active users remained steady, fluctuating between 55K and 65K.
LivU - Live Video Chat showed moderate revenue growth, hitting a high of $637 in early September. Downloads gradually increased, reaching a peak of over 1K in the last week of September. Active users followed a similar upward trend, climbing from around 3.4K to 4.5K over the quarter.
Bumble Dating App: Meet & Date had a relatively stable revenue performance, peaking at $291 in late July. Downloads remained consistent, with a slight increase to about 1.2K in mid-September. Active users showed a steady rise, growing from around 8.2K to 12.3K by the end of September.
Finally, Badoo: Dating. Chat. Friends experienced modest revenue growth, peaking at $174 in late September. Downloads were volatile, with a peak of approximately 3K in early September. Active users saw a gradual decline from around 55.7K to 51.7K over the quarter.
