The fourth quarter of 2022 saw notable performance from the top finance apps on the Android platform in Venezuela. Data from Sensor Tower reveals diverse trends in downloads and active users for these leading applications.
BDV experienced a strong presence in the market, with weekly downloads peaking at around 270K at the start of the quarter. However, this number gradually declined, ending the quarter with approximately 74K downloads. Weekly active users for BDV remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 1.4M and 1.6M throughout the period.
Al Cambio - Dólar en Venezuela saw an upward trend in weekly downloads, starting from 15K and reaching up to 60K by mid-December. Active users also increased steadily, peaking at around 286K in the week of December 12.
Tu Banca Móvil showed a fluctuating download pattern with significant spikes and drops. Downloads ranged from 21K to as high as 51K during the quarter. Active users for Tu Banca Móvil saw a peak of approximately 255K in mid-October but generally hovered around the 200K mark.
Banesco VE maintained a consistent download rate, with weekly downloads varying between 12K and 23K. Active users for Banesco VE remained relatively stable, averaging around 440K to 460K throughout the quarter.
Lastly, BBVA Provincial Dinero Rápido experienced steady weekly downloads, ranging from 12K to 17K. Active users for this app remained consistent as well, with numbers fluctuating between 200K and 215K.
