During the fourth quarter of 2022, the top 5 insurance apps on the Android platform in Qatar showed varied performance trends. Based on data from Sensor Tower, here are the key insights for each app:
Alkoot Global Care Alkoot Global Care saw a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads. Starting at 152 downloads in late September, the app peaked at 400 downloads in the week of October 24. The downloads then dipped and stabilized around 200-300 weekly for the remainder of the quarter.
QLM QLM experienced a modest performance in terms of weekly downloads. The app started with 185 downloads and saw a slight increase, reaching 291 downloads in mid-October. The downloads then fluctuated, maintaining an average of around 180-200 downloads per week towards the end of the quarter.
Policybazaar - Compare & Buy Policybazaar - Compare & Buy showed a significant upward trend in weekly downloads. Beginning with 98 downloads in late September, the app saw a substantial increase, reaching a peak of 252 downloads in the week of December 19. The weekly active users also followed a similar pattern, starting at 186 users and peaking at 346 users in mid-December.
DIG (old version) DIG (old version) had a relatively steady performance in weekly downloads. The app started with 140 downloads and saw minor fluctuations throughout the quarter, maintaining an average of around 100-150 downloads per week.
myMetLife Gulf Middle East myMetLife Gulf Middle East experienced a stable trend in weekly downloads. Starting with 67 downloads, the app saw minor fluctuations and ended the quarter with 88 downloads in the final week of December.
