During the fourth quarter of 2022, the top 5 MMORPG applications on the Android platform in Africa showcased diverse performance trends. Here's a detailed look at their weekly downloads, revenue, and active user metrics.
بكاسة, developed by Ahmed Radwan, saw significant growth in weekly downloads starting at 3.3K in late September and peaking at nearly 7K by the end of December. Active users mirrored this trend, rising from 12.6K to over 20K within the same period.
Evil Lands: Online Action RPG from Rage Quit Games LLC experienced a notable increase in both weekly downloads and active users. Downloads grew from around 5K to nearly 9K, while active users surged from approximately 7K to 12.5K. Revenue also saw a significant rise, reaching $100 in late November before stabilizing around $33 by the end of December.
The Legend of Neverland by Ark Games Global had fluctuating metrics. Weekly revenue peaked at $614 in early December, while downloads decreased from 9.1K in September to around 2K by December. Active users dropped from 11.4K to about 5.5K over the quarter.
The Tiger by Swift Apps LTD showed a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at 1.8K and reaching 4.8K by the end of December. Active users followed a similar trend, growing from 12.6K to over 20.5K. Revenue, however, remained relatively low, peaking at $93 in mid-October.
Dino Tamers - Jurassic MMO from Foxie Ventures displayed steady download numbers, fluctuating between 2.4K and 6.2K. Active users saw a slight decline from 18.7K to 15.2K, while revenue experienced minor peaks, reaching $82 in mid-December.
