In this article, we explore the performance of the top 5 auto applications on iOS in the United Kingdom during the fourth quarter of 2022. All insights are based on data provided by Sensor Tower.
Throughout Q4 2022, weekly revenue for AutoTrader showed a significant upward trend, starting at around $111 and peaking at approximately $291 by the end of December. Weekly downloads experienced fluctuations, beginning at 14.9K and ending the quarter at 15.7K. Meanwhile, weekly active users saw a slight decline initially but rebounded to close at about 110K.
The Driving Theory Test Kit by RAC experienced a consistent weekly revenue, starting at $34.5K and fluctuating within the $29K-$43K range, ending at $33.2K. Weekly downloads decreased over the quarter from 10.3K to 8.3K, while weekly active users saw a gradual decline from 15.4K to 12.5K.
PetrolPrices.com had no recorded revenue throughout Q4 2022. Weekly downloads showed a mixed pattern, peaking at 13.3K in early October and stabilizing around 6.6K by the end of December. Weekly active users decreased from 48.4K to 37.3K over the same period.
Shell: Fuel & Rewards also recorded no revenue during the quarter. Weekly downloads started at 10.6K and saw a gradual decline to 6.2K by the end of December. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around the 81K-86K range.
Testi Driving Cancellations UK’s weekly revenue showed a downward trend from $32.6K to $23.2K. Weekly downloads decreased from 9K to 4.2K, and weekly active users also saw a slight decline, starting at 91.3K and ending at 81.1K.
