Throughout the fourth quarter of 2022, Italy's top food and diet tracking applications on iOS exhibited diverse trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at the performance of MyFitnessPal: Calorie Counter, YAZIO Calorie Counter & Diet, BodyFast: Intermittent Fasting, DietOne, and Lifesum: Diet and Food Tracker.
MyFitnessPal: Calorie Counter from MyFitnessPal, Inc. experienced a slight decline in weekly downloads, beginning at around 2.3K in late September and dropping to approximately 1.6K by the end of December. Weekly revenue saw fluctuations, starting at $6.8K and peaking at $5.9K in mid-November. Active users showed a gradual decrease, from 146K at the start of the quarter to around 132K by its end.
YAZIO Calorie Counter & Diet from YAZIO saw a more dynamic trend. Weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at around 4.8K in mid-October, and ending the quarter at approximately 4.5K. Revenue was relatively stable but spiked to $8K in the final week of December. Active users also showed a varied trend, starting at 138K and peaking at 145K in mid-October before ending at 133K.
BodyFast: Intermittent Fasting from BodyFast GmbH had a notable spike in downloads, peaking at 3K in the last week of December. Revenue saw a peak of $5.1K in early October, with another significant rise to $4.9K in the last week of December. Active users fluctuated, peaking at 9.9K in the final week of the year.
DietOne from Grapho maintained a steady performance with weekly downloads hovering around 600, peaking at 1K in mid-October. Revenue remained stable, averaging around $3K. Active users showed a slight decline, starting at 2.2K and ending at approximately 2K.
Finally, Lifesum: Diet and Food Tracker from Lifesum AB experienced steady weekly downloads, averaging around 1K, with a notable peak of 2.6K in early December. Revenue showed a similar trend, peaking at $3.3K in the last week of December. Active users saw a decline, from 44.6K in late September to 40.9K by the end of December.
