The fourth quarter of 2022 saw significant activity among the top social apps in the Dominican Republic. Here’s a closer look at the performance metrics of the leading apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.
TikTok had a remarkable quarter. Weekly revenue peaked at approximately $34K in early November, while weekly downloads surged to 244K by mid-December. Active users also exhibited a steady increase, growing from 3.3M at the start of the quarter to 3.5M by the end of December.
Tango- Live Stream, Video Chat showed varied performance. The highest weekly revenue was around $3.5K at the end of September, but it saw a general decline throughout the quarter. Downloads had a minor peak of 1.05K in late October, and active users fluctuated slightly, ending the quarter at approximately 11.3K.
Who - Live Video Chat experienced modest activity. Weekly revenue reached its highest at $646 in early October. Downloads saw a peak of 990 in late October, while active users saw a small increase to 4.6K at the end of October but dropped to 3.8K by the end of December.
Kismia - Meet Singles Nearby had a notable performance in terms of revenue and user engagement. Revenue peaked at $1.08K in the final week of December. Downloads saw a significant spike to 4.95K in late October, and active users surged to 5.1K in the same period, although they dropped to 3.8K by the end of the year.
Pandalive - Video Chat witnessed varied trends. The highest weekly revenue was around $2.97K in early November. Downloads peaked at 2.1K in the same week, while active users saw a peak of 1.9K but ended the quarter at 1.1K.
