In the fourth quarter of 2022, the top 5 utilities apps in France showed diverse performance trends in terms of downloads and active users. Here, we take a closer look at the data provided by Sensor Tower.
Google demonstrated a consistent pattern in weekly downloads, with a notable peak of around 83K in the week of October 31 and November 7. The app maintained a high level of weekly active users, fluctuating slightly around 17.5M throughout the quarter.
EcoWatt saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, especially in December, reaching around 268K in the week of December 5. The active user base also grew steadily, peaking at approximately 434K in the same week.
Google Chrome maintained a stable download rate, with a slight increase towards the end of December, reaching around 50K in the week of December 26. Weekly active users remained steady, averaging around 24M throughout the quarter.
L’Identité Numérique La Poste experienced a peak in downloads in the week of October 24, with approximately 92K downloads. The app maintained a consistent active user base, increasing from around 116K in late September to over 230K by the end of December.
Finally, Leboncoin saw a steady number of downloads, with a significant peak of around 84K in the week of December 26. The app's active users showed slight fluctuations, averaging around 3.5M throughout the quarter.
